Nu $upra Artist: DE▲D††BUT††DRE▲MING

it’s still january aka the most sucking month of teh year and I have something sp00ky for yalls – it’s again a nu artist inside the $upra-roster and it’s a very frightening one:

ladies & gentlemen, please welcome ‚DE▲D††BUT††DRE▲MING‚ !

‚DE▲D††BUT††DRE▲MING‘ is hailing (or should I better say ‚cursing‚) the world from norway. it’s mostly a one-man band consisting of hans luegeheu. the sound of ‚DE▲D††BUT††DRE▲MING‘ can be filed under witch house. in normal language it’s a mixture of dark & new wave, drone & even industrial sometimes flavoured with styles like dubstep or rap/hiphop.

I received hans‘ demo on 27th of december last year and it was somehow a kind of belated christmas present for me.
hans uses that good old analogue stuff within his recording-studio and also is recording veeeery oldschoolish via tape-to-tape overdubbing to provide the natural lofi noises and errorscapes while playing every isntrument by hand without sequencing.
you can even hear him whisper and sing sometimes.

sometimes hans got some friends with him and aswell some guest features.
it all looks pretty well that hans is going to release his first longplayer later this year on $upra Recordings. 🙂

for now I’ve got two demo-tunes from him for yalls to enjoy and to examine his darkus twisted stuff.

first tune named ‚D▲RK E▲RTH ‚ is a very dark & sinister creeping monster with an epic intro and the helping hands of andy leimer & marne jacdeis on additional vocals, synths and electronic drums. the track has a slight ’skinny puppy‘ feel to it – enjoy the track!

second tune named ‚Penitence (demo)‘ – a somehow dreamy neo-romantic inspired song with a nice steady groove and some heavy synthie-dreamscapes.
